Counter Strike Purgatory

As Counter Strike evolves, so do our members. To better match our current player base the following server modifications have been made to all CSP servers:

Removal of Friendly Fire:
Friendly fire has always been a controversial server configuration. ATAC is a poorly written and bloated script that requires a decent ammount of log pruning to accuratly track all players for every connection that they have ever made to the server. Removing FF from all CSP servers currently configed with it will reduce that servers recources by almost 15%, allowing for more player slots or increased server-side FPS.

Addition of AFK Auto-kick Detection:
The main complaint received after the removal of friendly fire was that players could not longer kill teammates that are AFK (specifically on our rats server where players are blocked). This plugin has been installed to minimize this issue. We are currently trying to set the correct values and timers for this so please report any bugs found to our forums.

Removal of Steam Bans plugin:
SBSRV has been plagued with issues for the last 2 years, and has been responsible for many server crashes. It is because of this issue that we will be discontinuing the use of steam bans plugin.

Removal of Bigotry Rule:
After much feedback from may players, it had been decided that CSP will no longer enforce a "No Bigotry" rule on the servers. While we still expect that our players maintain a level of respect not only for admins but also other players, we feel that bigotry is a little vague. We still do not tolerate racism or disrespect, so please still use tact when speaking or chatting in the servers

Switching Stats app to a more accurate mod:
We are currently using statsX wich is prone to forgetting or resetting player stats. This is unacceptable to players, therefore we will be switching the stats app to another more stable stat tracker.

Addition of a Team Fortress 2 server:
Team Fortress 2 has blown up in the last few months, and it is because of this reason that CSP has decided to host our firts non-counterstrike server. The IP Address for this server is 69.28.221.30
